Feeling less enclosed

If you prefer to feel like you have a bit of room when you dip rather than feeling like you’re in a fish tank, then you might opt for the XL. With a 20% larger diameter than The Cold Pod, you’re sure to feel more comfortable as you immerse.

Great for taller people

We listened to some of our customers who are taller than the average adult, and some felt they could do with a bit more space in their Pod. So, we listened and developed The Cold Pod XL. It’s perfect for anyone who’s, let’s say, a little larger than life.

Better recovery

The Cold Pod XL is a game changer if you’re looking for that added level of comfort on your cold water therapy journey. Because ice baths reduce blood flow to your muscles, you’re less likely to experience damage, making it the ideal post-workout activity.

Of course, with a bit of extra room, you may even choose to take the plunge with a friend or partner!

Of course, there are many reasons why people choose the XL version, including because they feel more comfortable in the larger diameter Pod.

Our standard Cold Pod can accommodate people up to a height of 6ft 7in. However, if you like a bit of extra room, we’d recommend choosing The Cold Pod XL.

Yes, The Cold Pod XL has a capacity of 440L, that’s 120L greater than the original Cold Pod.

The amount of ice you need will depend on the temperature you want to achieve. If you’re a beginner or live in a cold climate, you may not need any ice.

No. The cleaning process for The Cold Pod XL is the same as The Cold Pod – it’s just a slightly larger area to clean. You simply release the drain tap and then when empty, give the inside a gentle wash with some warm, soapy water, rinse and leave to dry.

Yes, The Cold Pod XL has been designed to be used inside or outside. However, please bear in mind that the XL is a wider diameter, so will need extra room. It’s also important to place The Cold Pod somewhere you can drain it easily.
